The flowering shrubs outside my casita attract butterflies and hummingbirds. While hummingbirds normally move extremely quickly, it was refreshing to see this hummingbird enjoying a quiet moment in the rain.

What a great picture. You can see the rain coming down. A great contrast to the Beautiful Dead Bird photo...which I believe was just for me whether it was or not. I wish we could sit on the porch every eve. in C.R. and talk about all this stuff. Rad.

That really is a gorgeous humming bird, isn't it? I have only seen plain brown ones here in the states. xoxoxoxo
